The City of Edinburg Public Works Department is seeking bids for a comprehensive citywide pavement marking and maintenance project. - Government Buyer: - City of Edinburg Public Works Department - Products and Services Requested: - Removal of existing pavement markings in various widths (4", 6", 8", 12", 24") - Application of new thermoplastic and reflective pavement markings (yellow and white, solid, broken, dotted, and various widths) - Use of pavement sealers in multiple widths - Asphalt crack sealing and application of emulsified asphalt sealcoat (two coats) - Installation of raised pavement markers (yellow and white, 4” 2-way, 5,000 each) - Application of handicap symbols (traffic paint and thermoplastic), fire lane markings, painted curbs (yellow/red), parking lot striping, and installation of concrete wheel stops - Quantities: - Thousands of linear feet for various marking types (e.g., 10,560 ft of yellow reflective, 21,120 ft of 12" dotted white reflective) - Hundreds of symbols and markers (e.g., 20 handicap symbols, 100 fire lane markings, 50 concrete wheel stops) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Full compensation must include all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals - Compliance with city-provided forms and verification requirements - Bids to be submitted on a unit rate or lump sum basis - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

The City of Edinburg Public Works Department is soliciting sealed bids for City Wide Pavement Markings to apply thermoplastic markings within the city limits. The work involves eliminating existing pavement markings and applying various types of reflective pavement markings, pavement sealer, asphalt sealcoat, and other related items. Bids must be submitted sealed by the deadline and are to be submitted on a unit rate or lump sum basis. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and questions should be directed to the Interim Purchasing Manager.
