Description

The Department of National Defence (DND), with assistance from Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the Dive Tender Replacement (DTR) project. The RFI seeks industry feedback on potential solutions that meet the operational requirements for replacing the existing fleet of Granby and Sechelt-class vessels used by the Royal Canadian Navy for diving support. The new vessels will support a full range of diving operations and resemble traditional 24-crew diving support vessels. The project is anticipated to fall under the small vessel construction component of the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS).
