Shared Services Canada (SSC), through its Connectivity and Security Services Branch, is seeking industry feedback for a future procurement of a Cloud-Managed Site Network Solution. - Government Buyer: - Shared Services Canada (SSC), Connectivity and Security Services Branch - Products Requested: - Cloud-managed Wi-Fi access points (Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7, indoor/outdoor, omnidirectional and directional antennas, desk and wall/ceiling/pole mounting) - Cloud-managed LAN switches (8-port compact, 24-port, 48-port, 10GbE fiber, PoE+, multi-gigabit, fanless, rack-mountable, virtual switch clustering) - Cloud-managed site gateways (500 Mbps, 1 Gbps, 3 Gbps, advanced firewall, DPI, IDS/IPS, SD-WAN, FIPS 140-2, Zero Touch Provisioning) - Network transceivers (10GBASE-SR, 10GBASE-LR, 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX, 1000BASE-T) - Mounting accessories for all network appliances - Services Requested: - 5-year OEM maintenance and support (technical support, firmware updates, documentation, advance replacement RMA) - Instructor-led virtual training (minimum 5 days, deployment, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting) - Quantities (for validation/testing): - 3 Wi-Fi 7 access points, 2 24-port switches, 1 site gateway, 4 transceivers, 3 mounting brackets (for test/validation; full deployment will scale to up to 10,000 devices) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Centralized cloud-based management for up to 10,000 devices - Standardized hardware/software for unified visibility and operational efficiency - Accessibility compliance (EN 301 549:2021), with conformance report or remediation plan - Canadian data residency and security standards (ISO/IEC certifications, ITSG-33 compliance) - All products must include a 5-year OEM maintenance and support term - Advanced security features (WPA3, VLAN, Layer 3/7 firewall, DPI, IDS/IPS, TLS encryption) - Zero Touch Provisioning and REST API support - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; SSC is seeking input from all relevant solution manufacturers and suppliers.

Shared Services Canada (SSC) is seeking input and feedback from suppliers and solution manufacturers for a Cloud-Managed Site Network Solution to support the Connectivity and Security Services Branch (CSSB). The solution aims to address the needs of small remote sites, temporary installations, and other specialized edge cases by providing standardized network appliances managed remotely through a secure cloud platform. The contract will allow for ongoing supply, maintenance, and support of these products, including Wi-Fi access points, LAN switches, and site gateways, with a focus on security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
