Description
This Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) invites qualified individuals, organizations, partnerships, and legal entities to express interest and qualifications to lead inclusive social programming for Two-Spirit, Trans, Non-Binary (2STNB) & Allies (LGBTQIA+) older adults (55+) in the Greater Victoria Region. The initiative is a four-year program funded partly by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program, aiming to reduce social isolation and foster community connection through monthly gatherings, annual events, workshops, and online engagement in Westshore, Victoria, Saanich, and the Saanich Peninsula. West Shore Parks and Recreation Society seeks respondents with experience in community programming, social work, and working with equity-deserving populations within the 2STNB & Allies LGBTQIA+ community. Services are expected to begin in January 2026, and this RFEI does not constitute a call for tenders or bids.
