Description
This solicitation is to establish a contract to furnish Waste Disposal Service for the Louisiana Department of Corrections (DOC), Dixon Correctional Institute (DCI) located at 5568 Highway 68, Jackson, LA 70748. The contract covers container rental, trash/garbage hauling, and disposal services. The contract term is for 12 months beginning with the date of award and ending June 30, 2027, with an option to extend for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor must provide a minimum 30 cubic yard metal lid roll off container with liner for food waste, serviced at least three times per week. The contractor is responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and disinfecting containers and must use state-permitted landfill sites for disposal.
