Description
The North Carolina Department of Natural & Cultural Resources Division of Parks and Recreation is soliciting sealed proposals for the dredging of approximately 42,000 cubic yards of material from Cow Channel to a maximum depth of 8.00 feet below mean lower low water level at Hammocks Beach State Park. The dredged material will be beneficially placed on the ocean side beach of Bear Island behind a temporary berm to prevent direct discharge into the Atlantic Ocean or other water bodies.
