Steuben County is seeking a fully-certified Code Enforcement Official (CEO) to enforce the Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and State Energy Conservation Construction Code in the Towns of Addison, Campbell, and Tuscarora, NY on an as-needed basis. The successful applicant will work under a contract with Steuben County but will not be an employee of the county. Proposals must be submitted on Steuben County forms and delivered in a sealed opaque envelope by June 25, 2026, at 1:30 PM. Award will be based on experience, proposed implementation plan, and cost.
