The Texas Historical Commission is seeking a contractor to install a new 25,000-gallon water storage tank, structural slab, and below-grade plumbing at the San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site. - Government Buyer: Texas Historical Commission - Project Scope: - Installation of a 25,000-gallon Zincalume Silver water storage tank with roof system, liner, access hatch, hold down kit, overflow, ventilator, sacrificial anodes, 2" inlet and valve kit, 6" ANSI anti-vortex outlet and valve kit, and Aluminum Fire Department Connection signage - 20-year warranty on the tank - Construction of a 29'x29' concrete slab (6" thick, 24" wide perimeter footing, 4,000 psi compressive strength, reinforced with #4 steel bars) - Installation of below-grade plumbing (100' trench, 6" PVC pipe, 6" riser with Fire Department Connection hardware) - Site preparation, excavation, tank mounting and anchoring, and site cleanup - Staff training and provision of warranty documentation and maintenance instructions - Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with manufacturer specifications and Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office code requirements - Contractor must have at least 3 years of relevant experience - Mandatory pre-bid site visit and signed Site Visit Form required - Bid security (5% of total bid) required for bids over $25,000 - Background checks and certifications required for personnel - 20-year warranty on the water tank - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Estimated contract value: $85,000
