The U.S. Air Force at Mountain Home Air Force Base is seeking a contractor to provide and install a Wrong Way Detection/Reverse Entry Alert System at the Main Gate. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 366th Fighter Wing, 366th Security Forces Squadron, 366 CONS LGCP, Mountain Home AFB - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) Wrong Way Detection/Reverse Entry Alert Detection System (READS) - Must use wireless (non-radar) detectors to monitor all outbound lanes - Includes CPU/control systems, audible siren, and visual "WRONG WAY" display (minimum 7" H x 34" W x 2.5" D) inside the gate house - All necessary equipment, materials, and installation services - 5-year extended warranty covering all parts and workmanship - Installation and integration services for the system - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must not use radar-based detection; wireless detectors are required - Audible and visual alerts must be provided inside the gate house - Contractor must comply with all security, access, and training requirements for base entry - Set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 561621 (Security Systems Services) - No specific OEMs, vendors, or part numbers are mentioned in the solicitation or attachments
