Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, under the Department of Defense and Department of the Navy (NAVSEA), is seeking sources for the rental or lease of a Temporary Desiccant Climate Controlled Unit (DCCU) System for industrial applications. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Code 230 Engineering - Products Requested: - Multiple DCCU units: - 4 units at 10,000 CFM airflow (part numbers DH-01 thru 04) - 3 units at 15,000 CFM airflow (part numbers DH-01 thru 03) - 230 Ton air-cooled chillers (2 units, part numbers DH-05 and DH-04) - 600 GPM chilled water pumps (2 units, part numbers DH-06 and DH-05) - Chilled water hoses: - 6 IN diameter, 1000 feet (DH-07, DH-06) - 3 IN diameter, 800 feet (DH-09), 300 feet (DH-10) - 4 IN diameter, 300 feet (DH-08) - 90 degree elbows: - 6 IN diameter, 12 units (DH-08, DH-07) - 3 IN diameter, 32 units (DH-10, DH-11) - 4 IN diameter, 8 units (DH-09) - Globe valves with pressure gauges (2 units, DH-11, DH-12) - Chilled water manifold assemblies (12 units, DH-12, DH-13) - Services Requested: - Equipment start-up and commissioning (including pressurizing, leak checks, setpoint adjustments, alarm troubleshooting, and E-Stop installation) - Preventative maintenance and weekly equipment inspections (per OEM schedules) - Technical support and repair services (24-hour response for repairs/replacements) - Training for shipyard personnel on equipment operation and setup - Unique Requirements: - System must provide dry, tempered process air for industrial use - Remote E-Stop capability required - Detailed technical and operational specifications must be met - Period of Performance: - Base period: 52 weeks - Option 1: 44 weeks - Option 2: 4 weeks - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; responses are sought from companies able to meet the technical requirements.
