Description
This final rule airworthiness directive (AD) applies to all Hélicoptères Guimbal Model Cabri G2 helicopters. It addresses an unsafe condition involving cracks and corrosion pitting on the main rotor (MR) mast, which could lead to failure and loss of control of the helicopter. The AD requires inspection, corrective actions, modification of the MR mast including corrosion protection, reporting inspection results, and prohibits installation of certain main gear boxes unless requirements are met. Comments on this AD are open until July 25, 2026.
