The National Park Service, Yellowstone National Park, is seeking a new custom research vessel and trailer to support park operations and research activities. - Government Buyer: - Agency: National Park Service - Sub-Agency: Yellowstone National Park - Contact: Rebecca Hayes - Products Requested: - Custom 34-foot aluminum welded research vessel (WorkSkiff Commander Series or equal) - Model year 2025 or newer - Twin 250 HP 4-stroke outboard engines - 250-gallon fuel capacity - Enclosed work cabin and deckhouse - Outfitted with gill-net lifter, hydraulic power pack, navigation components, DC electrical system, bilge system, safety equipment, NPS-provided radio and decals - Heavy-duty, triple-axle galvanized boat trailer (meeting or exceeding Tuff Trailer specs) - 17,200 lb load capacity, goose-neck configuration, DOT-approved LED lighting, electric-over-hydraulic braking, disc brakes, galvanized steel frame, adjustable bunks, and other heavy-duty features - On-water operational training for up to 12 NPS employees (minimum 2 hours) - OEMs Highlighted: - WorkSkiff (Commander Series referenced as a standard) - Tuff Trailer (referenced for trailer specifications) - Notable Requirements: - Delivery to Yellowstone National Park within 12 months of award - All sea trials and inspections included prior to acceptance - Training for NPS staff included - Vessel must be new (model year 2025 or newer) and custom-built to specifications
