This notice announces the Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program (AFMETCAL) at Heath, Ohio, intends to procure specialized resistance measurement equipment. - AFMETCAL will issue a single source, firm fixed price contract for Dual Source High Resistance Bridges - Measurements International is the only identified OEM, specifically for their 6600A Dual Source High Resistance System - Two units are required, each capable of measuring resistor values from 100 kΩ to 10 PΩ at voltages from 1 to 1000 V DC - Systems must support both automatic and manual operation - Includes 10-channel coaxial matrix scanners for automatic operation - Purchase is based on a specific government purchase description and technical requirements - Justification and Approval (JA) document is posted; opportunity is not open for competitive proposals - Capability statements from other vendors able to meet the requirements will be considered - No additional services are requested; this is strictly for equipment procurement - Delivery is expected within a one-year period - Estimated contract value is likely in the low to mid six figures, based on similar equipment

AFMETCAL at Heath OH intends to solicit and award a Single Source Firm Fixed Price FFP contract in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul RFO Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and RFO 12.201-1 Simplified Procedures for the purchase of Dual Source High Resistance Bridge that measures resistor values in the range of 100 kO to 10 PO Ohms at Voltages from 1 to 1000 Volts DC. With Automatic and Manual Operation. 10-Channel Coaxial Matrix Scanners for Automatic Operation for the AFPSL. The Measurements International 6600A Dual Source High Resistance System meets the governments needs. Measurements International is the only manufacturer that has a dual arm bridge design. The Government envisions a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The anticipated quantity is for 2 units over a 1-year period. The requirement is for Dual Source Resistance Bridges in accordance with the Purchase Description, which is available for download at this site. A copy of the approved JA is also posted with this notification. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by AFMETCAL. Interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the required item within fifteen 15 days of this publication.
