U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO) is conducting market research for comprehensive aircraft maintenance and logistics support services for its diverse fleet. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Air and Marine Operations (AMO), National Aviation Maintenance and Logistics Support - Aircraft Fleet Supported: - 181 fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, including models such as B200, C-130J, AS350, and UH60 - Services Requested: - Routine organizational level (O-level) maintenance performed at government facilities - Unscheduled maintenance for unforeseen events (e.g., damaged rotor blades, bird strikes) - Logistics and supply chain support, including inventory control and supply chain risk management - Surge maintenance support for major events and special missions, both CONUS and OCONUS - Procurement of materials, supplies, and tools for all aircraft activities (not-to-exceed total amount) - Contractor travel to support contract requirements (not-to-exceed total amount) - Track 1: Modifications (sensor/communications upgrades, avionics upgrades, fabrication, installation, integration, painting, engineering) - Track 2: Intermediate (I-level) maintenance (advanced repairs by field teams or regional back shops) - Track 3: Depot-level (D-level) maintenance (highest level of repair) - Procurement Structure: - Two contemplated contracts: one for routine O-level maintenance/logistics, and a multiple award IDIQ for modifications and higher-level repairs - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must demonstrate technical feasibility, risk mitigation, and facility support for all aircraft types - No specific OEMs or part numbers are listed, but support for a wide range of aircraft platforms is required

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) hereby issues this Request for Information (RFI) for aircraft maintenance and logistic services. This is for market research purposes only to determine available sources. Responders are advised that the government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. The full RFI is attached to this annoucement.
