Description
The Town of Sand Lake is soliciting sealed bids for the replacement of the Thais Road Bridge over Wynants Kill. The project includes replacing the bridge with precast concrete slabs and cast-in-place concrete abutments and wingwalls, placing medium stone fill near abutments and along Wynants Kill, replacing steel bridge rail with four-rail box beam bridge rail, full depth pavement reconstruction on Thais Road, milling and overlay of Springer Road, maintaining traffic during construction, and removal of the existing bridge after completion. This is a Locally Administered Federal Aid Project following NYSDOT Standard Specifications. The project must start within 10 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed by December 31, 2026.
