The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendors to install and provide 24/7 monitoring services for an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) across seven sites in Hawaii, including medical centers, warehouses, and clinics. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs - VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS) - VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21), Network Contracting Office 21 - Products Requested: - IDS hardware components: - Motion sensors (total quantity: 37) - Sirens with minimum 80 dB alarm level (total quantity: 8) - Magnetic door switches (total quantity: 39) - Keypads (total quantity: 8) - Additional components: door/window contacts, cabling, software licenses - Services Requested: - Installation, configuration, and testing of IDS hardware - Removal of outdated systems and integration of modern technology - Training for client personnel on system use, incident response, and maintenance - Continuous 24/7 monitoring and real-time alerting for all sites - Unique Requirements: - Installation must be completed within 6 months from award - Work performed Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays - Sirens must meet a minimum alarm level of 80 dB - Training and user guides must be provided - Monitoring services must be ongoing and cover all locations - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named; vendors may propose suitable IDS solutions - Notable sites include Tripler Army Medical Center, multiple warehouses, and clinics - Vendors are expected to review the Statement of Work and respond with technical feedback and clarifications

This is a RFI for Installment of Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Monitoring Services for VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS). The Government is seeking information on the availability of qualified vendors capable of providing Installment of Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Monitoring Services. The purpose of this RFI is to gauge market interest and gather input from potential sources. Please review the attached RFI 36C26126Q0788 document, which includes a Sample Statement of Work Statement (SOW). To be considered a complete response, provide the information requested in items 1-7 of the RFI. Please provide any feedback, questions, or clarifications, including any areas where the SOW may need further clarification.
