The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Philadelphia District is seeking contractors for maintenance dredging services in the Delaware River and Wilmington Harbor. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Philadelphia District - Scope of Work: - Maintenance dredging of approximately 2.5 million cubic yards of sediment from the Delaware River main navigation channel (Stations 0+000 to 515+000) - Dredging of approximately 350,000 cubic yards from Wilmington Harbor, Christina River - Hydraulic cutterhead dredging required south of Station 190+000 - Either mechanical or hydraulic cutterhead dredging permitted north of Station 190+000 - Placement of dredged material in Pedricktown, Delaware City, and/or Killcohook disposal areas - Contour dredging required to specified depths with allowable overdepth - Government will conduct pre- and post-dredging surveys - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Large-scale sediment removal (totaling ~2.85 million cubic yards) - Use of both hydraulic and mechanical dredging methods depending on channel location - Strict placement and contouring requirements for dredged material - Government oversight through before-and-after surveys

Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Philadelphia District has a requirement for the Maintenance Dredging, Delaware River, Philadelphia to Sea and Wilmington Harbor FY26 Project. Contract work consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 2.5 million cubic yards of sediment within the Delaware River, Philadelphia to Sea main navigation channel between Stations 0+000 and 515+000 and approximately 350,000 cubic yards within Wilmington Harbor, Christina River. Work includes hydraulic cutterhead dredging only south of Station 190+000 and mechanical or hydraulic cutterhead dredging north of Station 190+000 with placement of the dredged material into the Pedricktown, Delaware City, and/or Killcohook disposal areas. All dredging will be performed to the required depths indicated with 1 or 2-foot allowable overdepth. All dredging shall be performed as contour dredging. Before and after dredging surveys for measurement will be performed by the government. The period of performance will be 240 calendar days.
