Description
This contract involves decommissioning, removing, and disposing of existing Motorized Control Cabinets (MCC) and associated wiring, cabling, and conduit, and installing, testing, and commissioning new MCCs, Supervisory Control Cabinets (SCC), and associated wiring, cabling, and conduit at thirty-three fan plant locations on seven subway lines. It also includes installing, testing, and commissioning new Data Cabinets, Field Distribution Panels (FDP), Alternative Field Distribution Panels (AFDP), and/or network switches, as well as new fiber optic cabling between SCC, telecommunications equipment, and communication rooms. Additionally, the contract requires performing asbestos surveys and abating asbestos-containing material identified by both contractor and existing surveys. The contract term is 1095 calendar days and includes opportunities for Enhanced Utilization Credit to incentivize MWBE firms.
