The Town of Longboat Key is seeking sealed bids from dredging contractors to dredge, transport, place, and shape up to 20,000 cubic yards of sand from Greer Island and 500 cubic yards of sand from Canal 1A area to portions of the Longboat Key, FL, Gulf of Mexico shoreline. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the work, including site preparation, restoration, surveys, environmental monitoring, safety and security measures, permit compliance, tilling, and final grading. Electronic plan files are to be uploaded, but no e-bidding is available. The bid deadline is February 23, 2023, and the project is managed by the Town of Longboat Key.
