This opportunity seeks a comprehensive solution for advanced flight simulation training: - Government Buyer: - QI - Initial Alliance Future Surveillance and Control Capability (iAFSC) - Simulator to be installed at Geilenkirchen Air Base, Germany - OEMs and Vendors: - The Boeing Company is the referenced Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the E-7 AEW&C aircraft - Products/Services Requested: - Development, delivery, installation, certification, operation, and sustainment of a Level D full-motion flight simulator (FFS) for the Boeing E-7 AEW&C aircraft - Quantity: 1 simulator, plus associated operation and support services for 3-5 years - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Simulator must meet Level D full-motion standards - Compliance with DEU Military Aviation Regulations, European Aviation Safety Agency Regulations, and AQAP standards is required - Contractors may need to negotiate user rights and access to the E-7 AEW&C Technical Data Package with Boeing - Detailed technical specifications will be provided in the Statement of Work at RFP release

Description

This opportunity involves the development, delivery, installation, certification, operation, and sustainment of a Level D full-motion flight simulator (FFS) for the Boeing E-7 AEW&C aircraft. The simulator will be located at Geilenkirchen Air Base in Germany. The contract includes operation and support services for a period of three to five years, with quality assurance adhering to DEU Military Aviation Regulations, European Aviation Safety Agency Regulations, and AQAP standards. The FFS and support need to be operational by July 1, 2030, and the Request for Proposal is tentatively scheduled for July 1, 2025.
