Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is proposing to renew a currently approved information collection related to hunter participation surveys in the Northeast Region. The surveys aim to collect data on hunter experience, preferences, and harvest to inform refuge-specific hunt plans and wildlife management. The information collection includes two forms targeting big game, small game, migratory bird, upland game hunters, and spring turkey hunters. The data will support the development of hunt plans that balance biological objectives, safety, and visitor experience on national wildlife refuges and hatcheries.
