Description
This notice pertains to the revision of a currently approved information collection related to the National Survey of Fishing, Hunting, and Wildlife Watching conducted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The survey collects data on participation and expenditures related to fishing, hunting, and wildlife watching activities across the United States. The information supports the administration of Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration grant programs and helps inform policy decisions and resource management. The survey is conducted approximately every five years, with the next full survey planned for 2027 or possibly 2028. Public comments on the proposed revisions are invited until July 8, 2026.
