The U.S. Army's 1st Global Field Medical Laboratory (GFML) is seeking a service contract for the maintenance, calibration, repair, and certification of critical laboratory containment equipment. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, 1st Global Field Medical Laboratory - Contracting Officer Representative: MAJ Janay Gusme - OEM Highlight: - Germfree is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all equipment and parts - Products/Equipment Requested: - 6 Portable Gloveboxes (PGB-36) - 6 Stainless Steel Fume Hoods (FHM-2.5SS GF) - 6 HEPA Carbon Filtration Systems (FS75-PGB) - 6 150 CFM HEPA Carbon Filtration Systems (FS150-FHM) - 12 Biological Safety Cabinets (BBF-2SSCH) - Services Requested: - Preventative maintenance, calibration, testing, inspection, replacements, and certification for all listed devices - Repairs by accredited certifiers, warranty management (1-year warranty on parts and labor), and recertification if repairs are performed - Notable Requirements: - All work must use OEM parts and be performed by accredited certifiers - Strict adherence to biosafety and decontamination protocols is required - Certification must meet manufacturer and biosafety standards - Period of Performance: - Base period of one year with four optional one-year extensions (up to five years total)
