Description
The Texas Education Agency (TEA), in partnership with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), is soliciting proposals for a ready-made Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to collect and report student vision screening data across Texas. This initiative, mandated by HB 2 (89th Texas Legislature), aims to replace fragmented and disconnected systems with a streamlined, user-friendly platform that supports fast data entry and offline functionality. The solution must be a turnkey, out-of-the-box product that meets all mandatory requirements and ensures student data privacy. The goal is to improve statewide compliance, support student health, and enable better policy and resource allocation through comprehensive data collection and reporting.
