Description

1. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract with Order of Mangitude of Between $500,000.000 and $1,000,000.00 2. The performance period is 540 calendar days, whereby a commencement time of 30 calendar days is included. 3. The solicitation will be posted on or about 20 June 2026 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately 23 July 2026. Paper copies will not be available 4. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the RCO Bavaria. 5. Work will be performed in Germany. Contractor must comply with German law and must have authorization to do business in Germany.

This project specifies the following work:

The construction site is located within the Grafenwöhr Military Community – Rose Barracks.

- Dismantling of the existing medium-voltage and low-voltage installation devices

  at the old transformer station 24, building # 643, consisting of:

  1 each existing oil-immersed type transformer 630 kVA

  1 each existing medium voltage switchboard consisting of 3 medium voltage cells.

  1 each existing medium voltage switchboard consisting of 6 medium voltage cells.

  1 each existing low-voltage switchboard, approx. l x h x d= 2400 mm x 2000 mm x 650 mm

  Removal of all existing metal structures and all existing electrical components.

  Demolition of the existing transformer building #643.

- Erection of a new transformer building with cable vault and gable roof, roof slope 7 degrees.

  Size of building: approx. 12.6 m x 3.30 m, clearance height 3.20 m

  Size of cable vault consisting of reinforced concrete: approx. 0.92 m high

- Installation of a medium-voltage switchboard 24 kV, consisting of:

  1 each 24 kV transformer control section

  1 each 24 kV transformer control section reserve

  6 each 24 kV circuit breaker sections

  1 each separate 24 kV ground electrode in the transformer room

  1 each 20 kV oil-immersed type transformer 630 kVA

  1 each battery unit with charging device for the medium voltage circuit breakers

- Installation of a low-voltage switchboard, consisting of:

   1 each transformer circuit breaker 1250 A

   1 each bus bar system 2000 A

   1 each fuse load isolating bar 1000A

   7 each fuse load isolating bars 630 A

   7 each fuse load isolating bars 400 A

   5 each fuse load isolating bars 160 A

   1 each energy multimeter with LED display

- 1 EMCS patch panel as floor-mounted cabinet.

- Re-routing of all medium voltage and low voltage cables from the old transformer

  station 24 to the new transformer station 24.

- Construction of a walkable paved area for the new transformer station. Restoring of the grass areas.
