Description
The City of Edmond is soliciting sealed bids for cleaning wastewater plant sludge treatment lagoons and land applying wastewater plant biosolids. The contract is for a five-year period with options to rebid after the first two years and subsequent yearly decisions thereafter. The sludge must be land applied according to the City's Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality approved Sludge Management Plan, permit limitations, and federal sludge regulations for class B sludge. The designated sludge lagoon cleaning is scheduled during July and August each year unless otherwise decided by the Owner. A mandatory prebid conference is scheduled at the Coffee Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant on May 20, 2021.
