Description
This requirement provides contractor support for the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), on the implementation and ongoing oversight of State Exchanges, including State-based Exchanges (SBEs) and State-based Exchanges using the Federal Platform (SBE-FPs) for eligibility and enrollment (E&E) functions. The work includes support to the CMS/CCIIO State Marketplace and Insurance Programs Group’s (SMIPG’s) ongoing state-operations and technical assistance to states related to the implementation and operation of State Exchanges. It also involves SMIPG’s collection and analyses of State Exchange data, and program integrity oversight and monitoring of the State Exchanges and 1332 waiver grantees.
