Description
The Austin Independent School District (AISD) is seeking a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidental items necessary to remove the existing roofing system and install a complete, watertight roofing assembly. The work includes demolition of existing roofing, flashings, drains, curbs, and related components; substrate preparation; installation of polyisocyanurate insulation, gypsum cover board, and a fully adhered 80-mil reinforced PVC KEE membrane; all required flashings, edge metal, copings, fascia, drainage components, walkway pads, and accessories; and approved supports and watertight flashing for all rooftop penetrations and mechanical equipment. All sheet metal work must comply with SMACNA standards and conform to applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and contract documents. The contractor must verify existing conditions, maintain a clean and safe work area, protect completed work from damage, and remove debris daily until final acceptance.
