The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking installation services for a VHF radio communications system at its Tillamook Field Office in Oregon. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Northwest Oregon District, Tillamook Field Office - OEMs and Vendors: - Telewave (manufacturer of the ANT150F2 antenna) - Polyphaser (manufacturer of IS-50NX-C2 lightning protection device) - LDF5-50A Heliax RF cable (manufactured by CommScope/Andrew) - Products/Services Requested: - Installation of a Telewave ANT150F2 VHF base station antenna (1 unit, provided by government) - Installation and termination of LDF5-50A Heliax RF cable with connectors and grounding kits (provided by government) - Installation of IS-50NX-C2 Polyphaser lightning protection device (provided by government) - Routing of RF cabling to the Radio Equipment Room - Performance testing of the antenna system (VSWR, Return Loss, Distance-to-Fault) - All work to comply with Motorola R56 grounding and installation standards - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor and any materials not supplied by the government - All tower climbers must be certified and licensed in Oregon - 1-year warranty on all work and materials - Environmental, security, and wage compliance requirements apply - Work must be completed within 30 days of notice to proceed
