Description

The University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and The University of Northern Iowa, collectively known as The Regents Institutions, are seeking written quotes from qualified suppliers for the provision of milk and dairy products and related items. Suppliers are expected to furnish assorted dairy products to all institutions. This is an aggregate Request for Quote (RFQ) with awards made on an overall basis for best value. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest overall cost of all items meeting product specifications, with purchases made on an as-needed basis. The Regents Institutions aim to partner with the awarded vendor to reduce costs through high volume purchasing, maintain or increase quality and product offerings, meet delivery requirements and regulations, and maximize operational efficiencies and fill rates. While the primary objective is to award a single vendor, multiple awards may be made if deemed in the best interests of the institutions.
