This notice announces the DEA's intent to award a sole source contract for hotel accommodations to support SIU Basic Course #128 participants: - The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Training, requires 21 double occupancy hotel rooms for SIU #128 students. - The Comfort Inn Stafford is the intended vendor due to its proximity (8.4 miles from DEA Academy, 450ft from Stafford Training Center) and safe walking distance to amenities. - The hotel must be on the FEMA-approved list for federal travelers. - The procurement will be conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (NAICS 721110). - The anticipated contract is firm-fixed price, with the period of performance from June 27, 2026 to July 25, 2026. - Other vendors may submit capability statements if they can meet all requirements, but no RFQ will be issued. - The requirement is driven by limited local hotel availability and the need for safe, convenient lodging for training attendees who receive per diem and lack access to the DEA Cafeteria.
