The Town of Antigonish is seeking to procure external two-person Powerline Technician crews with material handling capability to support the phased transition of its electrical distribution system from 4/12kV to 25kV operation. The services include provision of qualified crews, material handling and lifting equipment, live-line work support, transformer change-outs, and associated utility line work. Respondents must provide labor, equipment, standby, call-out, and night work rates, along with information on resource availability and safety qualifications. The Town will provide customer notifications, traffic control, and conversion materials, while respondents supply personnel, vehicles, tools, and equipment necessary for the work.
