Description

The Province of Alberta is seeking proposals for one medium helicopter equipped with personnel and fire-line equipment hoisting capability for wildfire suppression. The contract duration is 58 months starting approximately June 20, 2026, with possible extensions for two additional one-year terms. Acceptable helicopter models vary between a transitional set for year one and full hoist-capable models for years two through five. The helicopter will be positioned throughout Alberta and may be exported outside the province. Proponents must possess the proposed helicopter(s) at submission with appropriate documentation.
