Description

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) under the Department of Commerce is soliciting nominations for new members to fill vacancies on three independent regional scientific review groups (SRGs) established under the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA). These SRGs provide expert advice on marine mammal science issues for the Alaska, Atlantic, and Pacific regions. Members are expected to have expertise in marine mammal biology, ecology, population dynamics, and related fields, and serve as independent advisors reviewing stock assessment reports and other relevant information.
