This opportunity involves the demolition and site reclamation of the Lloydminster Centennial Civic Centre: - Government Buyer: - City of Lloydminster - Scope of Work: - Demolition and disposal of the Centennial Civic Centre at 5405 – 49 Avenue - Abatement, removal, storage, transport, and disposal of hazardous, contaminated, and dangerous waste - Removal and disposal of building concrete footings, foundations, structures, roof systems, and concrete pads - Removal and disposal of electrical and mechanical systems, including ice plant components and piping - Removal and disposal of exterior concrete, asphalt pavement, bollards, fences, signs, signposts, garbage cans, and benches - Removal and abandonment of existing building services (water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer) within the site (excludes abandonment at the mains) - Clearing and grubbing of vegetation, with emphasis on protecting as much vegetation as possible - Import, placement, and compaction of owner-supplied clay backfill within excavations - Notable Requirements: - Emphasis on environmental safety and hazardous waste abatement - Protection of existing vegetation during site clearing - Excludes abandonment of water and sewer services at the mains - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

Description

This solicitation is for the demolition and disposal of the Lloydminster Centennial Civic Centre located at 5405 – 49 Avenue, including disposal of site surface infrastructure. The work includes abatement and disposal of hazardous waste, removal of building structures and systems, removal of exterior concrete and pavement, and clearing of vegetation with protection of as much vegetation as possible. It also involves removal and abandonment of existing building services and import and compaction of owner-supplied clay backfill within excavations. The abandonment of water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer services at mains is excluded from this scope.
