The Department of Transportation, Infrastructure & Energy, Properties Section, Government of Prince Edward Island, is seeking proposals for the removal and/or demolition and site restoration of four structures at 18986 Trans-Canada Highway, Hampton, PEI (PID #1190321): - Four structures to be addressed individually: - Two-storey house - One-storey outbuilding - Garage - Large steel building - Scope of work includes: - Removal or demolition of each structure - Complete debris removal to approved disposal sites - Identification and lawful removal of hazardous materials - Disconnection of all utilities - Removal of foundations and restoration of excavated areas - Decommissioning of septic systems and abandonment of wells - Site restoration to pre-developed condition - Notable requirements: - Obtain all required permits and maintain at least $2 million in liability insurance - Strict compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal statutes and environmental regulations - 15% performance deposit required with bids; highest bidder's deposit is non-refundable - Structures are sold AS-IS; bidders may purchase and remove or demolish - Habitat for Humanity may salvage materials from the two-storey house prior to demolition - Site viewing available prior to bid submission - No OEMs or specific vendors are named, as this is a service-based demolition and site restoration opportunity.

The Department of Transportation, Infrastructure & Energy is soliciting proposals for the removal and/or demolition and site restoration of four structures located at 18986 Trans-Canada Highway, Hampton, PEI, PID #1190321. The structures include a two-storey house, an outbuilding, a garage, and a large steel building. Each structure will be tendered individually. Proposals must be submitted by 2:00 PM on June 18, 2026, and viewing of the property is scheduled for June 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
