Description

The District of Metchosin is seeking expressions of interest from qualified consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Fire Department's current and future service delivery requirements, operational capacity, and facility needs. The review will evaluate the adequacy, functionality, and sustainability of existing fire service infrastructure considering community growth, emergency response demands, firefighter health and safety, climate resilience, and regulatory standards. The consultant will collaborate with municipal leadership and stakeholders to provide strategic recommendations for fire hall infrastructure, operational readiness, space programming, and capital planning.
