Description

The City of Lansing is seeking qualifications from experienced development teams for the potential development of the city-owned Bittersweet Site as a missing-middle inspired housing neighborhood. The project is envisioned as a public-private partnership that may include approximately 60 to 80 dwelling units on about 5.4 acres, with a focus on attainable housing, multiple home types, walkable neighborhood design, shared open space, and high-quality residential character. The City intends to select a preferred development team through the RFQ process, followed by a 90-day Memorandum of Understanding period and development agreement negotiations.
