USCGC STORIS Sustainment Support Services Sources Sought

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking sustainment support services for the USCGC STORIS to enhance operations and maintenance capabilities. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC Procurement Branch 2 - Services Requested: - Provision of 10 certified mariners with current STCW endorsements (Master, Chief Mate, Second Mate/OICNW, Able Seafarer-Deck, Chief Engineer, Assistant Engineers, QMED/Able Seafarer Engine) - 24/7 technical support for key shipboard systems: - Medium Voltage Switchgear and Generator Control Units (4 units) - Machinery Plant Control and Monitoring System (MPCMS) - Thrusters and Controls (5 units) - Dynamic Positioning System (DP2) - Towing Winch - Reduction Gear and Controllable Pitch Propeller system (2 shafts) - Integrated Bridge Systems - Optional advanced engineering analysis, studies, inspections, surveys, upgrades, and on-site casualty response - Comprehensive program management with a designated Program Manager and alternates - Associated reimbursable travel for contractor personnel - OEMs Highlighted: - Schottel GmbH (propulsion systems, thrusters) - Notable Requirements: - Mariners must hold specific STCW endorsements - Technical support must be available 24/7 for critical ship systems - Dynamic Positioning DP2 and Polar Class 3 capabilities are required - On-site support and advanced engineering services are optional but may be requested - Locations: - Support required both onboard USCGC STORIS and at shore facilities in Seattle, WA; Alameda, CA; and Baltimore, MD

Description

The USCG intend to procure services to support the operations and maintenance of USCGC STORIS. The Contractor’s services will complement and supplement organic Coast Guard personnel onboard the cutter, on shore in Seattle, WA; Alameda, CA; Baltimore, MD.
