The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, heavy equipment, tools, quality control, and incidentals necessary to complete the work.Government-Furnished Materials include substantial quantities of aggregate surface and subsurface roadway materials staged at a designated stockpile location within the refuge.The work will be performed in a remote island environment requiring contractor coordination for transportation, staging, logistics, and equipment mobilization associated with Vieques, Puerto Rico.The anticipated Period of Performance is anticipated to be approximately six (6) months from issuance of Notice to Proceed.Contact Type The Government anticipates award of a single firm-fixed-price construction contractInformation regarding the agency's definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contractsThe Department of the Interior does not maintain supplemental policies or procedures beyond those prescribed in FAR Part 43 regarding definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts. Offerors shall possess all licenses and registrations required to perform construction work in Puerto Rico at the time specified in the solicitation.Additional InformationThe solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about 23 July 2026. An organized site visit is anticipated to be scheduled after issuance of the solicitation.
