The City of Georgetown, Texas is seeking qualified architectural firms to provide full design and construction administration services for a new Fire Station No. 8. - Government Buyer: - City of Georgetown, Purchasing Department - Project Overview: - Design and oversee construction of a new, approximately 12,000 sq. ft. fire station on city-owned land at Westinghouse Rd - Facility to include three pull-through apparatus bays, ten sleeping rooms plus an office/sleeping suite, offices, living spaces, gear storage, SCBA and shop, EMS storage and decontamination, treatment room, and support spaces - Site improvements and utility coordination required - Services Requested: - Full architectural services: programming verification, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding assistance, construction administration, and warranty phase support - Coordination with city-contracted vendors and departments - Experience with MEP and civil engineering for fire stations, including TCEQ and Edwards Aquifer compliance - Delivery Method: - Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to be engaged after schematic design - Notable Requirements: - Firms must demonstrate experience with fire/emergency facilities and CMAR projects - No LEED certification required - Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws - No specific OEMs or product vendors are named in the solicitation

Description

The City of Georgetown is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified individuals, firms, or corporations with substantial and relevant experience and expertise to provide architectural services for a new Georgetown Fire Station No 8. The scope includes design and construction administration of the fire station facility located on a city-owned 2.5-acre property. The project will feature apparatus bays, sleeping rooms, offices, living spaces, and various support areas. The selected consultant must maintain proper licensing and comply with all applicable laws and mandates. SOQs must be electronically submitted through the City E-bid system by June 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT.
