The National Park Service is seeking bids for the replacement of eight HVAC condensing units at the Visitor Center (Building 213) in San Juan National Historic Site, Puerto Rico. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Office (SER SOUTH MABO) - San Juan National Historic Site, Visitor Center (Building 213) - OEMs and Vendors: - Trane - Gree - Products Requested: - Eight HVAC condensing units: - Trane 5 Ton units (part numbers: 4TTR6060E1000NA, 4TTR6061C1000AA, 4TTV0048A1000CD) - Gree 5 Ton units (part numbers: FLEE60AC230V1A0, FLEXX60AC230V1A0) - Trane 4 Ton units (part numbers: 3048E1000PB, 4TTR3048E100PB) - All units must be U.S.-manufactured, corrosion-resistant, minimum SEER rating of 22, with 7-year compressor and 5-year parts warranty - Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of eight existing HVAC condensing units and associated components - Installation of eight new high-efficiency units, refrigerant piping, electrical work, corrosion-resistant mounting systems - Equipment startup, testing, balancing, commissioning, operational verification, and system acceptance - Training for four maintenance personnel (minimum 2-hour session) - Delivery of O&M manuals, warranty documentation, equipment inventory, and project closeout documentation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All refrigerant recovery and disposal must comply with EPA regulations - Performance and payment bonds required - Site superintendent must be employed by the prime contractor - All new equipment must be U.S.-manufactured and corrosion-resistant - Minimum SEER rating of 22 for all units - Training for NPS maintenance staff is mandatory - Estimated contract value: $100,000 to $250,000 - Total small business set-aside
