Description
Pierce County intends to hire multiple qualified firms to provide environmental consulting services including biological, wetland, stream, geological, hydrogeomorphological, wildlife, hazardous material assessment, landscape architectural, air, noise, and cultural resources support. These services will support design and permitting of projects aimed at avoiding, minimizing, and mitigating environmental impacts. The projects focus on surface water management, water quality, flood control, and aquatic restoration to protect and enhance fish, wildlife, wetlands, riparian areas, and other environmentally sensitive areas. The initial contract period is anticipated to be 12 months with options to renew for four additional years. Proposals are due by June 3, 2026, and only electronic submissions via Pierce County's eProcurement Portal are accepted.
