Destination - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Mandatory compliance with safety, legal, and ethical standards (including OSHA and Texas Education Code) - Criminal history checks required for vendor employees with access to district facilities or students - Encouragement of minority and women-owned business participation - Vendors must submit W-9, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, Form 1295, Certificate of Insurance (for service providers), and Pre-Employment/Pre-Service Affidavit (for service providers) - The district may increase or decrease quantities and request substitutions with approval - 90-day transitional period may be added at the district's discretion - Estimated annual contract value: $1,050,000 - Contract term: one year, with up to four one-year extensions (maximum five years total)

Description

The Birdville Independent School District (BISD) is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for Career and Technical Education (CTE) Equipment, Supplies, Software, and Related Services to comply with federal, state, and local purchasing laws. The contract is based on the 2025-2026 budget with an estimated annual value of $1,050,000. The contract term is from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, with an option to extend for four additional one-year periods, not to exceed five years total. Proposals must be submitted by July 30, 2026, and late proposals will not be accepted. The preferred submission method is through the e-bid system, but paper responses are also accepted prior to the deadline.
