Description

The University of Maine, Orono is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified vendors for the supply, delivery, and installation of kitchen equipment for the Food Innovation Lab, which is currently under construction and expected to be substantially complete by November 20, 2026. The Food Innovation Lab features two commercial kitchens, one demonstration kitchen, and walk-in cooler and freezer that require outfitting of kitchen equipment. The procurement is managed by the University of Maine System Office of Strategic Procurement and includes a Master Agreement contract. The University encourages participation from diverse businesses including minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and other small business enterprises. The awarded contract will allow all campuses in the University of Maine System to use the solution under the same terms and conditions.
