Description

The Department of Defense (DoD) announces the proposed extension of a public information collection requirement related to organizational conflicts of interest in major defense acquisition programs (MDAPs). This collection implements section 207 of the Weapon Systems Acquisition Reform Act of 2009, requiring contractors to submit mitigation plans for organizational conflicts of interest that can be resolved through mitigation. The information collection is necessary for the proper performance of DoD functions and aims to minimize the burden on respondents through automated techniques. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved this collection under Control Number 0704-0477 through September 30, 2026, and DoD proposes an extension for three more years.
