Description
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), on behalf of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a proposed transportation project to construct a new highway known as 36A North. The highway will run from Interstate 10 west of Katy, Texas to US Highway 290 west of Waller, Texas in Waller County. The project aims to improve north-south mobility and will be approximately 20-25 miles in length. The EIS will evaluate various build alternatives and a no-build alternative, with public input opportunities including virtual and in-person meetings.
