Description
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is announcing the termination of the land use planning process described in the notice of intent published on July 8, 2025, for the Environmental Assessment to amend the Buffalo Resource Management Plan. The planning process is discontinued as of the publication date of this notice. This termination follows the disapproval of the 2024 Buffalo Field Office Resource Management Plan Amendment by a joint resolution signed into law on December 11, 2025. The BLM will continue to work with cooperating agencies and stakeholders in implementing the existing land use plan.
