Description

The FAA proposes to supersede Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2025-04-05, which applies to all Airbus SAS Model A330-841 and -941 airplanes. The current AD requires revisions to the airplane flight manual and minimum equipment list, seal integrity tests of engine bleed air system high pressure valves, maintenance instructions, corrective actions, and replacement of affected clips. The proposed AD continues these requirements except for repetitive replacement of affected clips and adds requirements to update the bleed monitoring computer software, perform additional work, and revise the minimum equipment list further. The AD aims to address unsafe conditions related to engine bleed air system components and software to ensure continued airworthiness and safety.
