This project involves providing programming, preliminary design, and construction engineering inspection (CEI) services for the new Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) Facility located on Clarinda Drive in Pensacola, Florida. The new facility aims to be state-of-the-art, energy-efficient, and resilient, designed to function as an emergency shelter and mitigate flooding through a regional stormwater pond. The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) 2024 through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The facility will relocate operations out of the current flood zone to prevent damage from future flooding events.
